Terms of Service

1. The Service

eety.ai is an AI-assisted patent drafting platform that helps intellectual property professionals create high-quality patent applications. The platform uses large-language models, style-intelligence modules, and AI-generated drawings to assist — not replace — qualified patent practitioners.

The output of eety.ai is a drafting aid, not legal advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and filing any patent application prepared with our tools. Use of eety.ai does not establish an attorney–client relationship.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering a legally binding agreement.
• You must provide accurate, current, and complete registration information.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@eety.ai if you suspect any unauthorised access.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload content that infringes any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Use the platform to generate fraudulent, deceptive, or malicious content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract our proprietary AI models or source code.
• Probe, scan, or test the security of our systems without our prior written consent.
• Use automated scripts to scrape, crawl, or bulk-download platform content.
• Resell, sublicense, or share your account or plan credits with unauthorised third parties.
• Upload malware, viruses, or any code designed to interfere with our systems.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable Indian or international law.

4. Plans, Payments & Refunds

4.1 Subscription Plans

eety.ai offers time-based subscription plans providing a set number of patent application credits. Credits are non-transferable and expire at the end of the plan period unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Payments

All fees are quoted in US Dollars (USD) and are due in advance. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. You authorise us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method.

4.3 Refunds

Due to the consumable nature of AI processing credits, payments are generally non-refundable once credits have been used. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge at billing@eety.ai and we will review your request in good faith.

4.4 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify our pricing with at least 30 days' notice before any change takes effect for existing subscribers.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain all intellectual property rights in the invention disclosures, documents, and other content you upload to eety.ai ("Your Content"). By using the service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content solely to provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

5.2 Platform & AI Output

The eety.ai platform, including its software, AI models, prompts, UI, and generated stylistic frameworks, is owned exclusively by Personas Dot Work Private Limited and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Patent drafts generated by eety.ai from Your Content belong to you, subject to your compliance with these Terms.

5.3 Feedback

If you submit suggestions or feedback about the platform, you grant us the right to use such feedback without restriction or compensation.

6. Confidentiality

We treat your matter content as confidential. We will not disclose your invention disclosures or patent drafts to third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy or required by law. You acknowledge that AI queries to third-party model providers (e.g., Google Gemini) involve transmitting minimal matter context, governed by those providers' enterprise data-handling terms.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE LEGALLY SUFFICIENT FOR FILING WITHOUT PROFESSIONAL REVIEW.

eety.ai assists qualified practitioners — it is not a substitute for the professional judgement of a registered patent attorney or agent.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PERSONAS DOT WORK PRIVATE LIMITED AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR PATENT RIGHTS, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL FEES PAID BY YOU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) INR 10,000.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Personas Dot Work Private Limited and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your Content infringing any third-party rights.
• Any patent application filed using eety.ai output without adequate professional review.

10. Term & Termination

These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately if you breach these Terms. Sections 5 (IP), 7 (Disclaimers), 8 (Liability), and 9 (Indemnification) survive termination.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the service shall first be attempted to be resolved amicably within 30 days of written notice. Failing that, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gurgaon, Haryana, India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
